Jenny writes dark fiction that her mother hates. Her stories and essays have appeared in Across the Margin, Pantheon, Shimmer, Black Denim Lit, Skive, and others. When she’s not writing her own stuff, she’s reading mysteries for Criminal Element. When she’s not writing fiction or reviews, she’s writing/directing/performing/designing plays at Springs Ensemble Theatre.

  1. Cool combination of the hard facts with the wistful softness of humanity. Reading your words, I can see the old blue and white Chevy(a relative of the GMC anyway) that I used to roar down roads with at 75 miles per hour. I carried a toolbox behind the seat and often stopped to help people, I would have stopped for you. But, as you’re good at pointing out, so much in life is left to chance.
