Like that one guy said: Good writers borrow, great writers steal. Welcome to the place where all things have been lifted, looted, and otherwise pilfered…Remember, possession is 9/10s of the law.

I write dark fiction that my mother hates. I also review mysteries for criminalelement.com. When not writing fiction/reviews, I'm creating plays at Springs Ensemble Theatre in Colorado Springs.
I don’t really understand this one hahah, could you explain i’m really quite curious!
I really wish I could explain some of the things I write…this one was actually inspired by the legends of some Native American tribes which claim the world is carried by a turtle (Terry Pratchett riffs on the idea in his Discworld stories too). I just wanted to play with it and this what happened. 🙂
I think you’re really quite talented, hope to read more of these little stories!
That’s a good one. 🙂
I love your whimsical takes on Life, The Universe and Everything. Your turtle joke reminded me of the line in Alice in Wonderland about the turtle who was a schoolmaster. Why? Because he taught us!
Oh my gosh — Now I wanna rename the whole thing: Whimsical takes on Life, The Universe and Everything.
Nice! Keep it right where it is!
A lovely post Jenny. I too have a small tortoise in my house so could connect to your poem.
