The Premises – Humor

You know what’s really hard to write?  Prose that makes people laugh.  One of the things that’s fun with The Hakawati is the undercurrent of humor throughout even the serious parts of the book.  I know what you’re thinking, “What do you mean funny is hard?  It’s not hard at all.  I’m hilarious.”

Well, friend, why don’t you put your money where your mouth is and submit a piece for The Premises.  Their current contest is right up your alley.  The deadline is May 31st, so hurry up and get cracking!
