In the spirit of author-asking question, seeing as how we’re all writer-ly types around here, I’m going to pose to you Deb’s author question:

Jenny writes dark fiction that her mother hates. Her stories and essays have appeared in Across the Margin, Pantheon, Shimmer, Black Denim Lit, Skive, and others. When she’s not writing her own stuff, she’s reading mysteries for Criminal Element. When she’s not writing fiction or reviews, she’s writing/directing/performing/designing plays at Springs Ensemble Theatre.

  1. Best advice: Find a GOOD critique group. I got lucky and found a great one.

Worst advice: Just pitch the unfinished manuscript for practice. Unfortunately, that one came from my own little brain.
