Words, Words, Words

Jenny writes dark fiction that her mother hates. Her stories and essays have appeared in Across the Margin, Pantheon, Shimmer, Black Denim Lit, Skive, and others. When she’s not writing her own stuff, she’s reading mysteries for Criminal Element. When she’s not writing fiction or reviews, she’s writing/directing/performing/designing plays at Springs Ensemble Theatre.

  1. The point, though, is to encourage the writing that you wouldn't otherwise have to do. Because, for me anyway, it is far too easy some (most) days to not write for myself, then, one day at a time, a lifetime slips away without having finished anything of length that I wanted to write.

So, we have to write the stuff we have to write. The trick is managing to also work on the things we want to write.
